Writing music has been a part of me for most of my life. I recently started learning new software for music production and it is only now that I feel that some of the pieces are worth sharing. Some of them will be available for sale should anyone want to use the music in their videos or podcasts. But the main purpose here is simply to share the music and the creative process with interested listeners.
The pandemic has pushed virtually everything online, especially anything that can be shared electronically. Music obviously is one of those things, so I suppose my timing is good given that people are turning online to connect with others.
If you’re a musician, I’m curious to know about how you approach writing and recording.
If you’re a listener, I’m interested to know what moves you.
We are wonderfully fortunate enough to be able to share this art form more widely than ever before. It is no longer the exclusive domain of the professional musician or producer. Anyone with technical ability can share music.
As for my style or type of music, I would describe it as “orchestral synthesis”. I love synthesizers, orchestral instruments, choirs, and a variety of instrument sounds. So this makes the music I write somewhat eclectic. I leave it to listeners to decide how to categorize it.
Here is a short piece. Enjoy 🙂
